do you really read kant? i am highly impressed. i took philosophy of 20th century physics last semester, and as far as i remember all the kant stuff we studied was a bit over my head. so kudos.

What you said was more like, "Where is Jimmy Rollins? Just give me a hint. Where is he? I am gonna hurt you guys if you don't tell me where he is?" Eventually you were told, and no it was not that intelligent of a remark.

5/4/2004 9:43:00 AM
That is very impressive. Did you figure that one out by yourself? Or did you need help, like you did with Jimmy Rollins?

about the poem......you're the artist, it's your choice. as an afterthought, i thought maybe the 7-line final stanza makes you realize its only the beginning of 12 long years of school? again, thats just what i get out of it. i personally feel like, if it were my poem, i'd end with 8 lines. but i could see how it would make sense to end on 7, keep continuity, all that

yeah, pollocks one of my favorite artists. the way i see his art is almost like a mind's eye interpretation of things. think of when you get really angry, what do you see in your mind? for me its just a mess, and to me pollock captured this perfectly. he had a pretty rough life, and you can see it in his work
