A 29er will be good for a person your size. I just moved up to 27.5 wheels and that is a noticeable change from 26. I think 29 would be to big for a short guy. The GT will be a fine bike to start riding, but depending on the terrain and how you want to ride it may be limited. 800 to 1000 dollar bikes are a step up from what they sell at Dick's and will hold up for a while, but the weight of the frame and lower components will break down after some heavy riding. I just went from a $900 Cannondale to a Scott Spark and it is like night an day rolling through the trails. I also went hard to too full suspension, but the overall components are noticeable better. Basically find a frame and size that you are comftorable with and check the components and reviews. Okay, end of my rant.
always nice to have that extra room, but my regular macbook seems to handle it just fine. i can do a lot of eq-ing and other editing on the tascam so i dont ask too much of the computer.
word. im using a tascam dp-008 8 track digital recorder with a sm58 I put in front of my amp, a sm57 for vocals, and I forget which model but a shure condenser I just hang overhead for drums that works well.
I need to know some ins and outs about renting a car for 2 days from philly to scranton and back. im going to a wedding in may up there and figure this is the easiest way. i have never rented a car, though. anything important i should know? my driving record has to be clean or anything?
We gotta have DIY shows, passing out flyers, veganism, POSITIVEEEEE. I'm talking about packing lunches, holding hands, sharing backpacks, putting powder on our lips in the bathroom. Unity, man.
