SOUTH PHILADELPHIA—At the end of practice Tuesday afternoon, Sixers head coach Brett Brown surprised his players with the news that he had arranged for the team to meet with the NCAA tournament-winning Villanova Men’s Basketball team later in the week. Despite their hectic post-victory schedule, the newly-crowned champs of Men’s college basketball were able to host the Sixers for almost a full hour Thursday morning. “You see these guys on TV, you know, and then you get the chance to actually meet them in person—it was pretty amazing,” Sixers Forward Carl Landry told SKPunch in an interview following the meet and greet. The Wildcats were happy they could inspire fellow Philadelphia basketball players. “Just seeing the look on their faces when they came in made it totally worth it,” Ryan Arcidiacono, Villanova Point Guard and Final Four MVP told SKPunch.
I had the ray Charles dream again last night. I couldn't stop laughing when I woke up. I'm at the office for a community event then heading home to enjoy my cigar mix pack I ordered. Smoke poles, live forever.
