F it. I read a few posters here either purchasing new cars, having knowledge of newer cars or in the market for a new car.

I've just started my search for a new ride. 140k miles, a couple broken door handles and me not taking the best care of my current automobile has me on the search. I really don't have any brand loyalty at this time. Although, after this past Winter I'd like something with AWD if possible. Some other preferences, sedan style, leather (heating and cooling) seating, moonroof, not a Daewoo.

I've research the following:
Subuaru Legacy
Lincoln MKZ (I know it's a Ford)

Any recommendations, thoughts or comments are appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

xoxo

I had a 2010 Legacy 6cylinder and loved the car and it got totaled when I got rear ended by this drunk guy. Car was great in the snow and rain. I am in sales and on the road a lot and it was a great car.

After it got wrecked I went with the bmw 328xi. Car drove great and was a lot of fun to drive, but once it was out of warranty it cost wayy to much to maintain. I had a transmission issue at 68K miles on an 08 and it cost me 4 grand.

I went back to subaru and am really happy with my outback. I love the car but thinking I will go back to a legacy in a year or two.

Right now a 2014 Legacy is my top choice, probably going to test drive one tomorrow, but one of the things I've been reading the most is that from a stop due to the symmetrical AWD it can take some getting used to.

One thing I'm debating on is that I could just expand my budget another 5k and get something more "luxury".

Subaru are good cars but they all feel cheap inside. Also not really an issue getting going from a stop.

Check my profile. Love my 300. Mine is not AWD.......but same look. I have leather and obviously a sedan. I prefer the 2nd generation look a little more than the first.

:D !!

Kyle, have you given Mazdas any thought? And I don't think there's anything wrong with Fords. I've driven an Edge and it was super smooth, Brickhouse loves his and the Pollman's Flex was sweet.

Looked at a newer C Class online but just the labor and parts has me going back to something else.

I have nothing against Ford, my parents seem pretty loyal to them. My only thing is that I'm looking at a Lincoln which is just Ford engine/parts with a more luxury type interior/exterior. I love the look of the MKZ in and out but just don't think it's worth an extra 15k.

Great looking car - Not trying to be a jokester here but this is all I can think about when I see the 300 though.

Ford has been killing it since 2008. They've had a lot of stupid recalls lately, but nothing compared to GM and Nissan.

lol.....no doubt there are a lot of people that buy the 1st generation simply because they look like Bentleys. I like the 2nd generations body style much more anyway....doesn't have that same look and has it's own look.

Tom - if you're choosing between the Infiniti and Audi, I would go for Infiniti. I loved my A6, but once it got up there in miles it needed a lot of work and maannnn was it expensive.

yeah, i feel ya on the maintenance thing. fortunately, i'm only looking at 2-3yr leases so there shouldn't be much other than oil and tire changes.
