those are really high in sugar and tend to have a pretty low amount of protein per serving though

Also, why would you mix whey with casein? They are for two completely different situation. Whey is fast digesting and casein is slow, that's pretty counterproductive.
I would say drinking a slimfast is a way better option than skipping breakfast completely.
i do it in the morning when i have to run out, it fills me up better than if i use just whey or casein by themselves
and i would prefer to stay away from a shitty blended protein with a bunch of shit added to it, which is why i mix the two

Lose the casein except before bed.
Just use whey, oats, and banana... though I steer clear of most fruits because of the high sugar content, but a little wont kill you. If you're not feeling satiated I would add more oats to the mix because that will help you stay full and they are pretty much the king of carbs.
As for the type of protein, I use Nitrean by AtlargeNutrition.
It's pricey but it's the best shit out there. It doesn't have any garbage fillers in it like a lot of mainstream protein does.

Blueberries are my go to fruit. They have a ton of added benefits such as antioxidants for example.
i drink a smoothie of pure fruit and a tiny bit of v8 vfusion when i first wake up, then a protein shake right before i head to work. works out well.
go for berries as they are high in all sorts of vitamins and antioxidants. i also throw a banana and pineapples in there for more vitamin value.

a scoop or two of whey in whole milk. you'll wind up with about 350 calories, 50 grams protein, 8 grams of fat and 16 grams carbohydrate. You can hardly get a better nutritional profile
