lake michigan is great because you can avoid driving through indiana if you want to go east by taking a ferry across to michigan. ive never done this and its probably expensive, time consuming, and definitely out of the way, but the plus side is that you avoid indiana.

Have you guys been to the creek in Baraboo, WI? It's not on the website but there is a nice little hole that you can jump off some cliffs into.
