Starting a new job there April 7th and I need to find an apartment. I'll be down all this week looking, any areas I should stay away from?

South Harrisburg / Allison Hill. It's definitely not the best of places.. but it could be worse.

What exactly is the new job ?

Oh, right on. I lived in the Summerdale/Enola area when I was in school, it was pretty nice.

Cool... when I lived in Gettysburg I drove through Harrisburg to go back home, so I kind of know my way around. But I really don't know anything about that area outside of that.

I lived on the West Shore. It was nice because it wasn't in the city but yet was still close. Camp Hill is pretty nice too. Any ideas on what you're looking for?

Just looking for a nice, decent sized one bedroom place.

Downtown Harrisburg might be a little on the pricey side. Where I lived isn't too badly priced, but I haven't lived down there in like 2 1/2 years.

Yeah I'll just have to see once I get down there and look around a little more.

Yeah. I loved it down there, I hated to move back home but I pretty much had to. I'm looking to move down that way within the next couple years, probably when I start grad school.

Hah, I was born and raised in Harrisburg -- just move into my old bedroom at my parents place, they're decent folks

Also interested in this. Moving to Harrisburg sometime this summer. I'm looking for small and cheap.
