This is a very open ended question but one that could turn into good debate if it isn't trolled. I will respond after the thread gets going but hopefully there will be some good thoughtful answers.

My question is, what is the world made up of?

You can take this to mean physical, spiritual, etc....

I thought it was made from the same substance that makes up the coco puffs on lemmy's face.

No I have realized by now that the intelligence is a little too low for that. But still entertaining none the less.

Well the world is made up of energy. And because anything and everything is made of energy, I believe we can never die. So I'm interested to hear what religious people feel about this since it goes against their doomsday part of their religion. So any thoughts?

Sounds like it kinda fits right in with the whole Soul and Everlasting Life ideas they have though.

Since we are composed of basic elements that contain energy, we cannot die. If you can prove how energy disappears please show me but I think that is basically understood everywhere. And since you actually made no debate or argument I assume you are just trolling around so how about you check out Quantum mechanics book. I'll be waiting on your answers.

right, because our consciousness is just transferable energy.

i mean, it is in a technical sense, as everything is energy. but energy transfer from our decaying bodies into the soil, bacteria, plants and animals does not mean we are "eternal" as human beings.

using "energy" as a synonym for "soul" is just equivocation.

I am in no way saying this is our soul though. I'm just saying that when we die we all return to our "roots" the basic elements that create life. So even though our consciousness may go away, we still supplement life. So I don't believe that would be equivocation.
