this is some ignorant guy who is still pissed his side lost the election twice. people might be more inclined to follow democrats if they had real answers and solutions to problems rather then a smear campaign, and negativity.

secondly regarding the video, terrorism is real, no matter how nutty you are. we have a short memory when it comes to 9/11.

"this is some ignorant guy who is still pissed his side lost the election twice. "

The usual old mark of desperation...

And how is he "ignorant"???

" people might be more inclined to follow democrats if they had real answers and solutions to problems rather then a smear campaign, and negativity."

Check the recent elections, friend. Oh, I forgot.. you didn't even know that reps. don't take office immediatly after being elected.

"secondly regarding the video, terrorism is real"

And at no point did Olbermann say anything akin to "terrorism isn't real" or "doesn't exist". The man had a package containing white powder sent to his office.. and had to go through full decon procedures and start on meds for anthrax exposure not too long ago. Turns out it was harmless, but it was still a terrorist act.. meant to inspire terror by immitating a dangerous substance. Keith Olbermann knows a damn sight more about whether or not terrorism is real than you do, son.

"we have a short memory when it comes to 9/11."

Don't include me when speaking of yourself, friend. I remember 9-11. I remember Iraq had nothing to do with it. I remember Osama Bin Forgotten is still out there. I remember the anthrax attacks that the media never mentions... nor do those who say "we haven't been attacked since 9-11" mention them. I remember that there has not been a single suspect found in those attacks. I remember that Bush said that Bin Laden is unimportant and that he doesn't know where he is.

I also remember that 9-11 was real... and that telling lies about supposed terrorist acts or plans denigrates that memory and can very easily place us all in danger of it happening again. I remember that dilligence and rational action is our best course of action... not fearmongering and lies to score political points.

It has nothing to do with negativity and simply addressing the LIES that Bush has continually fed America. So I assume you have no commentary on what he actually said? Of course not, you just want to be negative and not address the actual issue.

Olbermann is quite possibly the least ignorant person ever placed in front of a TV camera. And how in the world you can throw around the word "ignorant" about anyone is beyond me.

Read anything about Halliburton. Read anything about the big oil companies. Read about the electronic voting machines. Read about FEMA. Read about reports saying we are causing terrorists to band together. Read about the false reports. Read about Bush and Cheney okaying the leak of a CIA official because he proved that certain intel was false (a huge reason we did go to war). So it has nothing to do with the government hiding anything. They simply do not talk about it.

If you choose to ignore it, fine continue to be ignorant. But to call someone else ignorant because they have the backbone to actually call bullshit is beyond stupid.

Now matt, you still haven't even mentioned the main point, that everything Bush said in his address is complete lies. So how about actually addressing that one.

And I am in no way saying our government is completely corrupt because there are a lot people that fight for the people. But a lot of people in power are forgetting that they are supposed to be representing the people, not their own interests and hooking up fat contracts for kickbacks.

So matt, please address the issue, not general statements. So how do you feel that what Bush said was lies. I would hope that infuriates you as an American.

No, Mattwater is a good little conformist. It angers him as a Republican partisan... that anyone would reveal the lies, stupidity, and corruption of his favorite politicians.

personally, I like to hear Olbermann's speeches in writing but I hate hearing him talk. he comes off as way too over the top and pissy, almost as if he's seething with rage.

also, lol @ matt's statement about no solutions that is now his punchline to regurgitate in threads about democrats.
