I'm still not that impressed by the Redskins offense nor am I impressed by anything Saunders has done as an OC.
Too many trick/gadget plays and too much intricacy. Against a well-disciplined and tough defense, it won't fly.
They would be a better team in the long run if they would just play some zone blocking scheme and ran Portis 35 times a game and then toss some crossing patterns to Santana Moss. Power offense wins playoff games.
They'll still finish last in the division.
i love when owners throw tons of cash at their team, and the team still sucks
Like every Redskins year
You guys are crazy. They looked good and the Jags D isn't anything to laugh at. They're just finally starting to put it together. Hopefully their defense can get healthy and then they can start blitzing more. Oh boo hoo, they're throwing tons of money so they can hopefully win it all. I would much rather my team do that and have a chance.
yeah but the point is, hes throwing money at the team and theyre still shitty. they won one game, pulling it together is like 3 games if you ask me.
2 great weeks in a row. don't know what else you'd like to see, 3 games?... alright i'm sure we'll see it again. they're finally putting it together. If you're still doubting I don't think you've been following them though. This division is going to the wire this season.
They throw all that money at overrated overpaid players and give away their draft picks like candy on halloween.
A. Randle El - 30 Mil for 100 yards over 4 games (actually 99) and a whopping Punt Return long of 15 yards.......awesome.
TJ Duckett - a 3rd round pick to play in one game so far, slaying defenses with 24 yards.
Brandon Lloyd is really killing it, too.
Why the Redskins are COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS with thier money:
Adam Archuletta is the highest paid safety IN NFL HISTORY.
They're just overly desperate to get a deep playoff run. One of these days they'll learn how to settle down and think things through.
I'd rather them throw their money around and at least TRY and win then be terrible like they have been for a while. And I am definitely not saying they are worth the money, but at least they are bringing in players that will help them win. Figure this is the last year they have before the cap starts ripping them apart.
so anyways, what did everyone think of their game last week. they are finally getting results.
I think Jacksonville is a fraud. If the Redskins look good in division play, I'll eat crow. Until then, I think they are average, at best.
