I know a lot of vegetarians or vegans don't eat meat because they don't like killing animals.

But to the ones that do it for health reasons, do you also not intake sugars or hydronated oil and the like?

I don't know that you can be vegan for health reasons, as it is a part of your lifestyle as well.

Tack on eating organic to that list.

I think he means that some vegans, are vegans, because they don't want the health risks that go along with eating meat and dairy. There are people that don't necessarily quit eating meat and dairy because they are sensitive to animal issues.

but doesn't veganism entail a bit more than just not eating animals?

vegetatrians I know run the gambit from health nazis who don't eat meat to junkfood addicts who don't eat meat.

You know it's funny, I used to crave junk food alot when I ate dairy. Now I don't want it at all, only if its something like soy or tofu icecream. That doesn't even really seem like junk food though, they have such good ingredients.
