According to this article in a Czech newspaper, Randy has finally been freed. If I were him, I'd just never go back. You never know what could happen.

He is supposed to return for trial, but for now he's probably feeling pretty great. If i were him though I'd just never go back to the country - seeing as how big of a clusterfuck this was, who knows what could happen in a trial.

He was never even formally charged, and held after paying bail, so that tells you a lot about their shitty justice system. In honor of this occasion, here's "Injustice System" by Sick Of It All.

Here is the Czech article, according to Google Translate:

============================

The protagonist Randy Blythe (41), who was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter of a fan is at large. The detention came on bail of 8 million and released immediately after leaving the Czech Republic.

The protagonist, who killed a fan: He paid 8 million and the court released him, but ...!
The protagonist for the death of a fan to increase bail: Are you out of jail? Pay 8 million! The protagonist exclusively from prison: The death of a fan I can not ... I can not see! Wife metalheads Randy Blythe: I'm sorry for the death of fan
Wife accused metalheads in Prague. Blesk.cz gave an exclusive interview

The court decided to release on Thursday about 16 hours. Thus believed that the Blythe will avoid criminal prosecution. Randy Blythe immediately after his release he flew to the U.S.. On Friday at one o'clock in the afternoon came in direct line to New York and gave the Czech Republic goodbye. On this visit really will not forget!
Gaunt and tired the last time looking back for the Czech

The singer was thin and looked very tired. He wore the same clothes in which a month ago to the Czech Republic stay. Before he disappeared in the fuselage, as he looked back. In the Czech prison was more than a month ...

Randy, who is a world celebrity, metal, said during a concert in Prague two years ago threw a fan off the stage by Daniel N. He then died of a fall.

"I'm not sure how to put someone in concert or not. I do not remember it exactly, since the group played dozens of concerts. But it is quite certain that by deliberately avoiding pushing anyone to hurt him, "said lawyer Martin Blyth?v Radvan. Also points out that if he had the slightest doubt, never would the United States, returning to Prague. The bail borrowed from colleagues in the band

"Mr. Blythe said it Pankrac prison is indeed old, but unlike what is known about the American prison, there is a much cleaner and milder conditions prevailing there," Rivers Radvanl.

"The money for bail, Mr. Blythe nap?j?oval from other group members will therefore have to try a lot of gigs to make money. Of course, counting on the fact that the deposit will be returned to him, "concluded Blyth?m lawyer.

You can believe I would not ever visit that fucksplat country to begin with. If he goes back he's an asshole. I'd like to see those cunts try to execute an extradition.

the US most likely wouldn't allow extradition. or hopefully they will step in and say something at some point. it's become a pretty high visibility news item, and it almost seems like fucking blackmail.
