Review:
Ah, there's nothing better than 8 songs of unadulterated punk fucking rock, and all under 12 minutes. Smartbomb keep it fast, melodic, and short on "Chaos and Lawlessness," just like I expected it to be.
This record may have the tag of punk on it, but it definitely toes the line between thrash and punk. It's aggressive, snotty, in-your-face, and just over all fucking good. Now don't just push it off as another throwback punk release, these cats do their best to keep it interesting and melodic without trying to reinvent the wheel here. It's punk, no qualms about it.
The production is clear, all the instruments shine through in the mix, but still have enough grit and dirt on it to satisfy a punk enthusiast.
If you need some fast aggressive tunes in your life, pick up "Chaos and Lawlessness," you won't be disappointed.
