Let me start of by saying that my familiarity with black metal is limited, so when I put this cd in and heard it for the first time, I had no idea what to think.
I've listened to this several times, and it's a listenable cd. The music is blazingly fast, but repetitive. If it wasn't for the slight pause between each track, it could easily be thought that it is one 32 minute long track. There is not much variation in how the drums or guitar sound from track to track. The same can be said about the cadence of the vocals.
Overall, even though it's repetitive and slightly generic sounding, this is a listenable record. If you're into black metal, give it a shot. If you aren't, I wouldn't suggest letting this be your introduction to the genre.
