Keeping it short and sweet, Pennsylvania's Kids blast through 2 minutes of chaotic punk/hardcore on their newest release "Burnouts and Boozehounds". The longest of 3 songs, "My Man, The Girl" clocks in at a whopping 53 seconds. There's no interludes or filler, with the exception of the feedback intro on leadoff track "Tony Rocky Horror" but hey, all hardcore bands are entitled to the feedback intro right?
Not much has changed since their debut Self Titled LP as much as things have been refined. I've been on a short song kick lately and Kids satisfies my needs. "Burnouts and Boozehounds" is either an EP you're going to love or hate. I can type another paragraph describing each second of every song but quite frankly its not needed. The production is dirty and raw, but so are the songs. The EP is available for free on their bandcamp page.
