Besides the Skrillex song with Korn, I had not truly experienced dubstep. I can honestly say that I was even curious as to what made it Dubstep.

The album starts off with a song that feels like it could have been part of the soundtrack to the Warriors or a rip-off of John Carpenter. Without a something to be a soundtrack to, it feels empty. About two minutes in, it breaks into some chanting of "kill the noise" and kicks into some dubstep similar to what I would expect it to sound like.

Most of the songs are pretty decent and utilize as many sounds as they can in a song while keeping it pretty consistent. The only part of the album I was unhappy with was the terrible track with the female singer. She does nothing for the song except add a terrible layer of sound over an otherwise mediocre track.

The end of the ep has some remixes of songs on this release. It really feels out place and adds nothing. Because of this, it feels like it there was no flow to the record.

If I had heard this 15 years ago when I was first experiencing digital music, I probably would have loved this . Unfortunately it just doesn't hold my attention long enough to sit through a whole album. If a song popped on I probably wouldn't change it unless it was the one with the terrible girl singer. All in all I feel this is a pretty decent dubstep album but without anything else to compare it to I am basing this solely on the fact that I did not hate this record. So there's that. Just like Edward Furlong in American History X, I too shall end with a quote.

"I don't hate dubstep, it just wubs me the wrong way." - Cyanide & Happiness
