I hate the term "concept album". What is an album if not a concept?I'd like to innovate the film industry by making a "movie story".

to me, most albums are a collection of songs that may carry similar themes, but not necessarily have elements of a storyline or plot progession from beginning to end. concept albums will contain the latter.

Understood. However, at one point - at a certain stage of development - all albums were conceptualized. Even if the end product does not resemble the original intention. Also, who gives a shit? I find the dumbest shit annoying.

Why are you arguing this?
It's like a book of short stories vs. a novel. Most albums are short story comps, a concept album is like a novel. They're two different things and not worth whining about.
