They should be searching anyone coming into any of the shows, not just him. If he wasn't invited by someone in a band, then he's just another attendee and therefore should be patted down like anyone else. I've been really surprised that they haven't been more strict with that with regular show-goers since it's pretty easy to walk in with anything. I know people may take issue with that, but at a large venue like that, it's usually common practice.
i understand what your saying, but this was a CBGB fest show, and everyone involved with the show has known harley for decades. you know he didnt pay and stand in line. he just walked up and it was the " hey harley" and he goes in. you know that. like it or not hes a hardcore icon.. just like if roger miret, stigma, scott vogel etc..etc.. everyone knows them they go right in. just like when diddy and jlo and there entourage started shooting in Jay Z's club. they walk in,, no one questions them

"On June 27th 2012, Flanagan was arrested for setting fire to and destroying a new, $300,000 South Philadelphia playground. Flanagan was arrested after being questioned twice by South Detectives about the arson that ruined the playground in FDR Park, 1500 Pattison Ave. "I would summarize the motive as sheer stupidity and not realizing how important playgrounds are to the community," said Capt. Laurence Nodiff, commander of South Detectives. Flanagan was one of two men who called 911 at 9:20 p.m. June 17 to report the fire and told police they saw two other men running from the scene, Nodiff said. Flanagan was called in for questioning a second time and was arrested. The other man, Ray Cappo, who authorities say was with Flanagan at the time of the fire, was not charged. Nodiff declined to say if the other man was cooperating with police. Nodiff said Flanagan, who is charged with arson and related offenses, set the fire by burning paper debris with a match or cigarette lighter. Mayor Nutter called it "an act of evil."[2]On July 6th 2012, he was arrested for stabbing and biting current members of The Stonecutters Social Club backstage at Webster Hall in NYC, protesting their "No Boners" admittance policy, while clearly allowing Boner from Family Ties into the fold. He was then taken into custody by the NYPD. While being put into the back of the police officer's car he could be heard screaming, "Hell bent, hell bent for leather!""
