that doesn't make any sense. the more complex we realize life is, the more there is a need for God. not the other way around. believing God created life is not "dumbing down" the explanation, it's acknowledging how complex life is, and that the only reasonable explanation is that an Intelligent Designer created it.

Yes, goddamnit. You've already proven that you don't know how to formulate a well thought out and valid argument, then when someone makes a decent counterpoint you say "blarga" or "that's cute." No one gives a shit to people who act like that.

if i must comment on the drake equation, i will. it holds no bearing on the original point that i made. if there are other life forms in the universe, whose to say they weren't created by God as well? you're just using it as a diversion to side step my original point.
