Carvin X100BMine is a 6L6 model. They switched to an EL34 based power section and threw in an extra gain stage. The EL34s supposedly have better distortion, but weaker cleans. Still a solid amp.
They are LOUD. The gain channel needs to be cookin' to have a substantial amount of gain. If you hit it with a boost or overdrive, it'll get into high-gain territory at reasonable levels.

Bump because I got a lot of new shit.
Silvertone Twin Twelve head/cab, Vox 1x18" bass cab, Traynor Custom Reverb YSR-1 head, and I got my old 4x12" back in action with some new speakers.
I've changed my board a bit since this, but whatever.
