Braves are a 4 piece band out of Delaware County (DELCO), PA. We love botch and we love Buried Alive, we thought it would be cool to write a track sounding like a mix of the two...from then on it just all came together, all of our influences from Botch, Sepultura, Shattered Realm, Meshuggah, Isis, Buried Alive, Neurosis, Coalesce, the Carrier and let's not forget Converge.
The closest thing I can categorize us under is "mathcore". Which sucks because we go from hard Sepultura riffs into botch almost Crosses/Team Sleep guitar lines, without compromising the integrity of the track.
