Full Fight card posted.

Due to playing a show in Altoona, I'm going to miss the whole damn thing. Bummer because the card is stacked.

So I didn't get to watch this live and had a friend text me all the results. I finally end up watching the fights I wanted to see last night.

So in the biggest upset, Overeem clearly took that fight lightly and paid big for it. He should have walked through Bigfoot within one round and just looked way too relaxed, almost bored to be in there with him. Dumb-dumb.

And there should have been away to bet on the Edgar/Aldo fight that it was going to be an ultra close split decision because that's all Edgar seems to be able to get himself into these days. Hopefully they don't do the immediate rematch again because it's getting really old at this point. Have Edgar fight another big name in the division like Chad Mendes or even bring Faber back to 145lbs and let those two go at it. That'd be a fight I'd like to see.

I also don't know what happened to Rashad Evans. Lil Nog has been a shell of his former self and Evans should have steamrolled him to atleast a pretty dominant UD decision if he didn't get caught in a submission. It wasn't that Nogueira looked good, it was more that Rashad looked like shit.

The Woodley KO was awesome.

evans/little nog in jab and head movement fest '13

fitch got out blanketed

overeem acted like such a twonk the whole fight. bummed it didnt end sooner.

if only they could get seven rounds for title fights jose might lose the belt. it wouldnt surprise me if they gave edgar the rematch asap thats a big meal ticket in a division jose's already through.

i heard they're adding a straw weight class (115lb) as well.

What I've always noticed is that when someone is a million to 1 favorite over their opponent, they either lose or the fight gets drawn out way longer than it should. If you are that much of a favorite, you should go out there and smoke your opponent in 20 seconds like the oddsmakers are saying you are going to. Fedor was pretty much the only dude that consistently went out and just obliterated whoever he was supposed to. Look at the Zulu fight. It lasted a minute or something like that.

I don't know how I feel about a 115lb division. If there are exciting fights at that weight class then it's welcomed but I literally know about zero strawweight fighters. I atleast knew about McCall, DeSouza, Benevidez, Johnson, and Dodson before the weight class opened up.

They really should put more focus on building up the women's division and add another one or two. Strictly keeping only the 135lb division is pointless. Unless it's a marketing ploy to get Cris Cyborg to come to the UFC, drop the weight, and fight Rousey. Because if they open up a 145lb weight class right now, Cyborg will never make the cut.

Edgar is tough if nothing else. You got worked the first two rounds and came back to make it a fight. Those leg kicks he was taking looked rough.
