If you could bring a dead rock star back to life for one gig, who would it be?

John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix, Elvis, Kurt Cobain, Buddy Holly, Freddie Mercury? Or someone else?

Freddy Mercury without a doubt. If there is one band that eats me up that I'll never get to see it's the full Queen lineup. Mercury was the greatest frontman that ever lived.

Also, GG Allin was a piece of shit. He can stay dead.

2 people.

John Entwhistle and Keith Moon bc the Who rules and for a rhythm section they were the driving force of the music.

also amazing musicians.

The only possible reason was due to him being as extreme as he was. He took the core ideology of rock & roll and punk rock and lived it tenfold. There was no one like him before him and there hasn't been anyone quite like him since. He was definitely an original. But the problem is that he literally has not a single good song and his antics became the attraction. Unlike something like GWAR who people originally came out to see just for the blood and guts, they have progressed as musicians and even when they were "terrible" they still had some bangers of songs. No one gave a flying fuck about GG's songs, they just wanted to see how fast he would shit himself on stage and punch an audience member.

Meanwhile, Motorhead is not in the HOF and Rush is JUST being inducted.

If anything, he kind of opened the door for Antiseen and the Murder Junkies and Gwar maybe indirectly.
