My opinion on veganism is that humans are at the evolutionary point where killing animals for food should be concretely morally wrong across the board (in the first world), but because we are dumb and enjoy the taste, the practice remains. I do believe killing animals for food is wrong. I currently eat meat because I, much like most of the human population, am weak and a hypocrite.
