The sound of a dog licking themselves irks me but
the sound of any animal lapping water from a bowl in an otherwise quiet room is enough to send me into a psychotic rage.

What about you's?

The sound of people eating.
My mother chews each mouthful of food approx two hundred times, so that even if she is eating crunchy/crispy things, you can eventually hear liquid sloshing round in her mouth. I cannot be in a quiet room with noisy eaters. I cannot.

this.

Also the sound of lips smacking together, or mouth 'clicking' generally made by senior citizens. I can see the white string and residue forming at the sides of their mouths.

At work it's fine, because it's always noisy. But at home when any of the dogs or cat drinks while I'm sleeping it wakes me up and I get so corlo.

This.

Also, the sound of people clipping their nails drives me up a wall and excessively loud typing on a keyboard.

This. But I have never met your mother to judge her so harshly.

This isn't really a sound, I suppose, but it's fucking driving me crazy. My coworker (a typical rich suburban ex-sorority girl) will not stop using the words "legit" and "cray."

For example, "OMG I can't believe that zombie guy ate the bum's face. Like LEGIT ate his face!"
and
"That zombie guy is just so CRAY. SO CRAY."

And she says it with a black/ebonics inflection so it makes it kinda racist? Not sure if that part would bother me on its own but holy fuck have I been seething. I hope she stops soon.
