I want to start weening off of my teflon cookware and switch to something a little ehh... healthier? My mom has always used stainless steel and as a kid I always burned food on it and hated cleaning the pans and scrubbing them with Cameo. Alas, now I'm old and would like to buy a decent set of better cookware that won't brake the bank. So I'm looking for recommendations. What do you guys like? Out of all my cookware I use my Tfal giant deep side skillet the most, so I'm specifically looking to replace this one first and maybe change the rest along the way.

Whatever you decided to buy, get a bunch of 20% off coupons from BB&B. And shop in DE if you can.

This is what I was just looking at. My grandmother gave me a $30 JC Penny gift card (thanks grams!) lol.,... and cookware was the only thing I could think of using it towards. They have a 3qt saute pan for $70 on their website I might get.

aww haha, it's so much more expensive that way, which is total BS in my opinion.

I got my set from my brother and his wife when they got married and got a much nicer set. Mine's kind of the low-end stainless steel that they offer, but it still works phenomenally.

I dont know much about cookware, but i do know everything about roofing.. Get that shit done before you're using your pots and pans to collect leaking rainwater. Hit me up if you guys need a quote.

ha, i know i know. we're waiting for this goddamn logger to take our trees down. no point getting a new roof with the risk of tree limbs impaling it... again. we did actually get a quote last weekend. my husband used to frame and went to a guy who did a lot of the work on the custom homes they used to build. i am having a hell of a time getting people to follow through on their work though so if we run into any problems i'll be in touch!
