ok, this one is for people that read the books and people that don't care about spoilers. my first question: when is the hot dragon chick plotline going to intersect with the main stark/lannister plotline, and how? also, who ultimately kills theron and how long before that little fag joffrey bites it?

Im about half way through the 5th book, and Dany is still not in Westeros, so who knows.
I'm assuming by Theron, you mean Theon, and he doesn't die....you think he dies, but after he kills Bran and Rickon (not really, they don't die, they hide), Winterfell is sacked by Bastard Bolton, who then takes Theon as his prisoner, cuts off his fingers, rips out his teeth, and skins him (and sends to Asha)
Joffrey dies at his wedding, poisoned by Dontos in order to get Sansa out of the redkeep, but its ultimately blamed on Tyrion.

So thats that.

It wasn't dontos it was lady tyrell when she was adjusting the ornaments in salsa's hair.

DON'T READ IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE MAJOR SPOILERS!!!!!!

Renly will die next week or the next at the latest

Bran turns into a time travelling tree. But not for a long time yet

Cat becomes a zombie

Jon snow sort of becomes a wildling under Mance.

RED WEDDING will be the defining moment of the series.

Almost all of the main characters you like will be dead in a season or two, where others like the hound, jaime, Sam, davos, and more will move into the spotlight.

The unsullied fuck shit up.

Lots of sleazy dudes try to nail dani, who takes over cities in the east. Her dragons wont do too much until like season 5.

I have a feeling Jon will become a full warg and take over Ghosts body.

That is more book related though.

major spoilers are the whole point; spoil away. the production values and acting in this show are good enough that i enjoy it more and get more detail when watching it when i know where they're going with stuff.

the time traveling tree is an awesome idea. and good to know there may be more chances to see dani's ass.

oh, so i'm guessing it's a final act thing then with dani. that's good to know; i'll stop getting annoyed that it hasn't dovetailed already.

glad to hear joffrey dies, although disappointed as that seems way too painless. i was hoping for something more aptly tortured and/or brutal.

does mayor carcetti/little finger get killed soon? he sucks too.

Nevermind, just remembered. Dontos gives her the hairnet, Tyrell puts the poison in the wine, and Little Finger planned it all.

I've watched every episode of this show, except for this past week's and I literally know none of the characters' names so I don't even understand the spoilers.

Ive read that it is extremely likely to be discovered in future books that Jon Snow is actually a Targaryan, son of Lyanna Stark and Rhagar Targaryan. Ned Stark supposedly promises his sister that he will keep the secret and raise Jon as his own. Since the series is called "a story of fire and ice," it makes sense that Stark'srepresent ice and and Targaryan's represent fire.
It would be perfect for Jon Snow and Dany to get together...

Apparently John Snows mom is just a wench, or at least thats what was said to Davos when he was in Sisterton. Some lord told Davos that Ned had been there before, bedded the girl, and took the child with him when he left.

This, plus what happens to Jon towards the end of A Dance With Dragons kind of shoots the idea down.
