My parents are finally putting my car in my name next month and kicking me off of their policy. What insurance do you have, would you recommend them, etc.

Safeco...I haven't had to use them yet but they are quite reasonable. $130 a month.

Bewtween my wife and myself, we've had a few different insurance companies.

Last year I switched to AllState, and im paying $118 a month for full coverage on mine and my wifes car. Thats less than I was paying for just liability on my own car with my old policy (Amica).

Progressive is pretty customer friendly, but expensive. Never had to file a claim with them.

Amica is expensive, but when I filed a claim (homeowners), they went above and beyond to get everything fixed quickly and no cost to me (aside from my deductible), and no jump in my premium.

Fuck Geico. Do not get a policy with them, no matter how cheap it may sound.

Our SF policy is for auto, life, and homeowners. We also get discounted for multicar and multipolicy.

I think this is about what I pay now but I'm expecting to pay a little more since I'm not 25 or whatever that age is when it drops.
