The MPAA gave this documentary and R rating (due to the curse words) but the Weinstein Group was like "eat shit," and they're releasing it unrated.

The title says it all. It's a documentary on bullying.

It's going to happen devito. Our goals as parents is make sure we try and teach our kids to be comfortable with who they are and to stand up for themselves.

The one thing I have to ask in all this, is where are the vigilantes in this situation? I know when I was in school there was hardly ever any serious bullying because someone would step up and beat the snot out of said bully. If there was any kids being picked on in the schools I went to, when I was there granted, it was isolated incidents. There was never the level of bullying that happens now.

I blame the internet and social networking sites. If you had shit to say about someone it normally stayed pretty contained and only your friends would hear the shit you had to talk. Now you can go home and embarrass the fuck out of someone publically to a much bigger audience that would have never seen/heard about the situation. Shit you can do it immediately from your phone, you don't even need to wait to get home.

That being said, people still would have been fucked up if that happened back in my day.

Yeah I know it is. My family has always been big on that and so have I. Although, I got the horseshit beaten out of me for doing so.

This shit didn't happen in my school, although I wish it did.

I was such an awesome kid in high school.

In Israel I made friends with the nerdiest kid on the trip and he made his goodbye speech when we left all about how I was a great person. All the other douchey dudes were mad salty and I pwned them constantly.

I wish I went to upper darby, I fought black kids every day until they just gave up. Then we all smoked weed together. This was middle school though. I was gang affiliated by high school. LP, Y-Bubble

Also bullying is dumb

I wasn't bullied, this was more of an "insult" done by idiot boys during an argument, but I was called flat a few times in middle school. Because, you know, 12 year olds should have fully developed tits and everything.
It annoys me that I took it to heart any time it was said though.

the kid that started all the hatred and beatings of me in middle school was paralyzed shortly after we graduated, then he died 2 years ago. Double LOL @ him.

Yeah, they are saying the problem is that before kids could escape the bullying by going home or whatever. They were miserable, but only from like 8:15-2:15, but now its a 24 hour bullying cycle.

That being said, I don't blame bullies when a kid offs himself. There is clearly a lot more going on in his life than someone calling him a fag.

I wouldn't put all the blame on them but they are definitely a contributing factor except in cases like that Rutger nonsense. There is a big difference between name calling and trying to completely ruin someone.
