As soon as one of these women start talking about football... I change the channel or website just as a reaction. It doesn't matter if they know football or not; it just happens every time.

Does this happen to anybody else? Are women being paid so much less in this position compared to men that it's favorable for non peak times in network administrative eyes, or is it just the whole gender equality thing going on?

Sideline reporting is whatever. I'm not necessarily against them in the box either but I have yet to see it actually work out well in professional sports. Male commentating for male sports and female commentating for female sports seems to work out the best but that kinda keeps females from the big time jobs as nobody watches or pays for female sports.

the only place for babes in sports is on the sidelines, with their short cheerleading skirts and boobs poppin' out. *high five*

teasin'. ever since troy aikman started covering eagles games, i've learned to tune out all commentators when i watch sports at all.

It doesn't matter how accurate they are with the reports. I just always get the feeling that they have no fucking clue what's going on and they are just reading cards

i think the problem is that all current female commentators are awful, not that they are female.

This won't be changing anytime soon. The NFL has spent a few years now marketing to women and have been rather successful at it. It's just a means of drawing women over to the boob tube.

This. They all suck.

Sixers announcers have found a decent combo of white technical guy and hype black man. Malik is awesome.
