1]war with Iran/increased aid to Israel/a few surprise wars here and there

2]increased defense spending/decreased spending in medicare, education, social services, etc.

3]freezing of public funding for stem cell research, put on hold for another ten years

4]gutting of the E.P.A./raising of air and water pollution caps/multiple species taken off endangered species list

5]oil drilling everywhere

6]car mileage and c.a.f.e. standards lowered

7]real tax rates lowered for rich, hidden taxes increased for poor

8]much pontificating blarga about the national debt, but an actual increase, and a continual increase in it and the percentage we borrow from China

9]creationism taught in public schools/linked to federal funding

10]Planned Parenthood defunded/abortion restricted in all southern and some midwestern states

The GOP primary for 2012 has always been a contest to see who will get their brains beaten out by Obama. Who the hell out of that field can actually win? (first person to say Ron Paul will get the derisive laughter they deserve) Gingrich? Not a chance, nor does he really want to run or win. It would mean too much of a pay cut for him in exchange for a huge headache of a job. Romney? Even the GOP doesn't like Romney. No one fucking likes Romney. He is the Meg Griffin of this race. Cain? You really think the GOP base is going to vote for a black man? You really think his philandering won't hurt him? Hell, I've been checking CNN every few hours today waiting to hear he has withdrawn from the race given his "reassesment", which is basically an admission that he did have an affair. Bachmann? Far from leading the tea party movement, the woman isn't qualified to lead a fucking bowel movement. And speaking of feces, the stuff that comes out of her mouth is just unbelievable... ignorant, wrong, insane, dangerous... pick your adjectives. And speaking once more of shit... Santorum? Nope. No need for elaboration. Perry? Nope... his recent gaffs have just reminded people far too much of George W. Bush, and NO ONE in their right mind wants to vote for that again.

The bottom line is that none of the current GOP candidates will ever beat Obama in a debate. People seem to forget this because they haven't been exposed to Obama recently unless they've gone out of their way to do so. Whoever gets the Republican nomination will look like an ass in front of him, and people will restore their faith, or whatever, in the only person in politics who seems to know what they're doing.

I'm not saying I love Obama. I think he's been disappointing in many, many ways. But there's no one with even a slight chance of beating him once it gets down to it.

Obama isn't great, but he is a sane adult who isn't grossly ignorant. Sadly no one in the GOP field seems to be able to say that. (and yes, I am including Ron Paul in that.)

I haven't seen much difference between Obama and Bush (more wars, more regulations written by lobbyist that help corporations create monopolies and squeeze out independent businesses, more torture and secret prisons, LESS FREEDOM... to say that the republican field is running RIGHT of bush is laughable. A peanut butter and jelly sandwich is "RIGHT" of Bush... face it. Bush was a Communist, and this shit bag we got now isn't any better. As a matter of fact, there hasn't been a true conservative president in this country since Calvin Coolidge... unjust, undeclared wars against people who do not threaten us came from the socialist left in the form of Vietnam and Korean wars.

Both parties are big government socialist parties and have been for a century... the democrats are just honest about it. It is the primary reason America is in this shit. Socialism continues to fail everywhere its been tried in the world. From Asia to Russia, to Europe, to America... everyone is bankrupt and sinking.

And when it fails this shit will be locked down police state style... But Americans are dumb, a product of socialized education. Ignorant of history. They bow to this president like he was Nero, raised up by the very same party that gave us the KKK and Jim Crow laws... and you eat it up...
