I always make my own sauces.

Two of my favorite recipes are my spicy mustard vinegar BBQ sauce and my peanut Butter sauce for lettuce wraps.
Also, if anyone knows of a good sweet & sour sauce recipes please post it.

I'll post the recipes later if anyone is interested

I was busy. I had something that came up after I posted that.
Also, to write a proper recipe isn't just listing ingredients.
I wanted to make sure my measurements are correct.

I made time to post the first one. here you go

Spicy Vinegar Mustard BBQ Sauce

1/2 cup of yellow mustard,
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup white vinegar
1 tablespoon dry sage
1 tablespoon dry bay leaves
1 clove garlic, crushed
3 tablespoons of brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon of paprika
1/2 teaspoon of Worstershire sauce
1/2 black pepper
1 teaspoon chrushed red pepper

Mix all of this together and then refrigerate.
It might seem tangy at first but if you let it sit for a day it gets sweeter

this is probably my favorite sauce...

4 oz tamarind pulp
1 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp mustard oil
2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp ground fennel
1/2 tsp ground coriander
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/4 tsp chili powder

heat the oil in a saucepan, mix in the spices and heat until they aromatize. mix in everything else + 2.5 cups of water and simmer everything until it reduces down to a saucy texture (like 2 cups). strain it salt to taste and refrigerate.

you can get tamarind pulp in little vacu-sealed pouches at asian and mexican markets 4oz would be like 125-g. if you don't like the wasabi-ish taste of mustard oil you can just use vegetable oil. good with vegetables, fried/greasy food, burgers, anything savory.

for more sweetness add fruit like dates or mangoes.
