was entertaining and better than the 22% it has on Rotten Tomatoes. However, it's by far the worst of the 3 superhero movies that have come out this year.

My biggest gripe with it is that Ryan Reynolds is Ryan Reynolds with a green suit in this movie. Up until now I've enjoyed the ultra sarcastic schtick that he's had in most of his films but I really wanted something a little bit different in this one. The CG could have been better too. Reynolds looked the worst and he was laughable looking at times.

Lastly, the big battle was a little bit of a dud. It was kind of like how they wasted Galactus in the 2nd Fantastic Four film. But without spoiling anything they definitely set up an interesting sequel with the scene that is in the middle of the credits.

I am not going to see this just because of how fucking stupid he sounds reciting the green lantern oath. Killed it for me. I no longer want to see it just because of that stupid fucking trailer.

He says it twice in the film and in context of the scenes I didn't think they did much to bring the scene down.

Yea, I am more than ok with Christian Bale's Batman voice, but hearing Ryan Reynolds channel it in that trailer is just

The only super hero movie that me might end up being in that I would care to see would be a Deadpool movie, if they don't fuck that up, which I'm sure will end up happening.

I don't mean to defend it too much but the "batman voice" that you hear kind of make sense in the two scenes he says the oath. The rest of the time he's just Ryan Reynolds. He does make fun of the stereotypical Superhero voice at one point in the movie too.

I think if you are going to write off a movie because of the way 4 lines are said is just silly. I'm not saying it's the greatest movie ever but that's just a dumb reason to give it no chance.

Comic Book geeks will be entertained. Most everyone else will probably find reasons to complain about it.

I never got into it either but the geek in me made me see it. I don't feel that I wasted my $10. I'm sure some of the story is off and I'll have Dennis explain to me the difference but as a fan of all things nerd, I liked it.

It will be a rental for me, simply because Ryan Reynolds is hot. The Green Lantern as a whole never really interested me.

My buddy saw it last night and said if it wasn't for Elektra, Ghost Rider and Fantastic 4, Green Lantern would be the worst Superhero movie ever. I lol'd and then lol'd at him because he called me a douchebag last week for saying I have no interest in seeing that tool as Green Lantern.

The only time I cared about the Green Lantern was the cartoon from a few years ago with the black one.
