When I see a pregnant woman, someone announces that they gave birth, or they have a "touching" birth scene in a movie/tv show, I don't get that "awwww, I want that" feeling. Is that normal? In fact, most pregnancy scenes/pregnant women still gross me out and I think that I would never want to go through that.

Most people tell me that it's because I'm 24 (almost 25) and that my feelings will change when I get older, but I'm not sure if that's true. Has that been the case for other people? I think newborn babies look like aliens.

I cry at child birth for some stupid reason. I think (in shape) pregnant woman look cute.

I think a-holes telling a grown woman that she'll change her mind about having something as life altering as a child is fucking annoying and demeaning.

I think it depends on the person. i never did until I was actually pregnant and watching those stupid shows. (of course hormonal so I would cry and cry and cry) even now I don't really care unless they are a close friend (although those shows still kinda get me)

I never got it before, in fact I wanted nothing to do with babies, but after I had my daughter I get that feeling all the time.
I dont know if its because I have a daughter or because I'm older, but its worse now and I do want more children.

Newborn babies def look like aliens, sometimes worse.

you are looking too far ahead and worrying about something that is not important to you right now.

wait till you fall deeply in love and maybe get married.....at that point you may change your mind a lot.

1) I want a baby to love me
2) I want a baby to show off so I get attention
3) I want a baby to keep this man down

I get what you are saying. I guess what makes me nervous/caused me to ask is that, most people, including my boyfriend, can definitively say, "Yes, I want children in the future."

I can't definitively say that.

There's nothing wrong with that.

Some people go into baby making thinking that it's all amazing and choose to not educate themselves on the things like: women are still dying today due to complications during childbirth.

Did you ever listen to the schmucks at the end of 16 and Pregnant? They all say "I didn't know it would be this hard." Stupid bitch, what the fuck did you think was going to happen?

I never had that warm and fuzzy feeling until after I had a kid myself. But most of the time I'm thinking about how awesome pregnant pussy was. So its a different kindof warm and fuzzy.
