mine has been playing records "slow" lately. Not majorly slow but, it's definitely noticable.
most sites i checked say its more than likely the turntable drive belt. has anyone else had this problem?

what table you have? is it worth having it fixed? you may be able to replace it with spending less money.

my current table is a sansui SR-222 from the 70s which i got for $40. it sounds better than the project debut III i had before which retails around $350.

Probably not worth fixing, my Sony record player cost $100...those Crosley ones are really nice but probably going to spend at least 30 bucks for a one time fix.

Definetly not worth fixing, my advice would be to hit a thrift shop and see what you can find in terms of a reciever and speakers, then buy yourself a turntable that is at least decent, a newmark or technics can sometimes be had for reasonable prices. those crosley all in one jawns are pretty shit.

However unlikely, could be your power. Try Another receptacle. It'd be crazy to get a speed box if it was a power issue. Although they help, it probably wouldn't for you.

These do look bad ass and all, and I looked at them for a long while. I ended up with a new p3 w/ cartridge from needle doctor on sale out of the scratch and dent isle for 7 or 8. From what I read the p3 had the edge on most of its peers. You can normally find them on ebay too for about 7 or 8 if not cheaper, and they are normally worth it. Not many upgrades though.

Wanted one of these but could never find any reviews.
