Manny Pacquiao's next opponent is Shane Mosley and not Floyd Mayweather Jr., as Top Rank promoter Bob Arum announced over Twitter the eight-division world champion will face the 39-year-old in Las Vegas on May 7. This fight is pointless. Pacquiao should run right through him. The only benefit of this is to keep Manny active and put a nice chunck of change in his pocket. The fact that the two top guys in that general weight are not fighting eachother is criminal to the fans of boxing. Mayweather needs to stop fighting his wife and step into the ring with Pacman.

I definitely agree with you on all fronts. Boths sides did have a couple pointless objections to the fight contract but if you look closely, Mayweathers excuses are incredibly lame. He bitched about blood tests, then the weight of the gloves amongst other things. Plus this is the greatest duck in the history of the spot. Dan Goosen is criminal and brilliant all at the same time.

The sad reality is the Mayweather/Pacquiao fight will probably never happen. Mayweather will continue to duck him and then when Pacquiao retires to do politics full time, Mayweather will finally be on board to fight him....when it's too late.

Manny Pacquiao is so loved in the Philippines that he will probably end up being their President in the future.
