a 1985 movie starring Barrett Oliver as a boy with a computer brain created by the Pentagon during a secret taxpayer-funded military experiment in artificial intelligence, who, after spending time with a loving family, learns he is a real boy with real consciousness, much to the Pentagon's dismay. Particularly moving is when the doctor in charge of the research project experiences a profound wake-up to reality when he learns of the boy's ability to feel real human emotions.
