Several scenes from The Blair Witch Project, the last five minutes of [.REC], the scene in TCM when leatherface slams the red door shut.

I watched the original exorcist with my uncle when I was way too young to be watching it, so that entire movie always fucked me up.

And the scene in Saving Private Ryan where the American soldier watched as the German slowly put the knife in his chest. That scene really bothered me.

There's probably more, but those two stick out to me

I can't post videos at work but the number one scene from any horror movie is without a doubt the first time you see Leatherface. I think that whole scene is absolute perfection and completely takes your breath away the first time you see it. No music, no inclination of a set up, it just happens. When he slams the door shut, you find your jaw on the floor.

Definitely agreed on many fronts. The body twitching around and the lack of blood is also very alarming and fucks with your blood pressure during the whole shit One of my favorite scenes no doubt.

I cant find video, but the scene in the original Nightmare on Elm st. where nancy is dreaming int he classroom, and see's Tina in the bodybag, and she eventually gets dragged away in the hall = ur not sleeping
