I went and bought some stuff from Aldi's for the first time today. I think for as much as I got, and for what I paid the place was awesome. When I got home and tried some of the food I bought I was impressed. The quality with somethings was just as good if not better than full priced name brand grocerys

When I was 16 or so my mom used to shop there for awhile. We both got sick on some of the grub and we never went back. From what I hear now they are on top of their game and have been for some time.

Aldi's is pretty awesome, but I'd stay away from their meat and produce. Most of their stuff is produced in your well-known brand name factories.

The first time I shopped at the local Aldi's, as I was leaving a dead baby bird fell out of the sliding door mechanism and landed on my shoulder.

They are part of the same company that runs Trader Joe's, for what that's worth.
