how is control? ive heard mixed things, i have the joy division documentary and its fucking amazing, if youre a fan ofthe band pick it up

love joy division but thought that movie was super disappointing.

I enjoyed Control. It got mixed reviews but you shouldn't let that stop you from watching it. I thought it was really well done and I'm a huge Joy Division fan, still need to see that documentary though heard it was really good.

The Joy Division documentary is where it's at. Control is good too.

city of god is easily the best movie int he last decade. i still need to see slumdog millionaire.

lately ive been watching crime dramas/film noir. in the more modern twist of things, LA Confidential has been my JAM. its a little unsung, in my opinion. brian will crucify me, but its better than training day when we are talking corrupt cops.

as far as film noir is concerned, its been all about double idemnity, and im about to fuck with strangers on a train for the first time in about ten years.

i did watch conan the barbarian the other night, but whatever. im gonna re-watch "viridiana" sometime soon when i have the time...excellent/controversal satire of franco-spain and classism. perfect dark comedy for sure. citerions dvd looks pretty damn great..

double indemnity is one of the best movies ever made imo
