so last night i went to flush the toilet and my iphone totally slipped out of my pocket and right into the still piss infested water. now it is dead never to turn on again

thought i would share that with you all.


anyone had to replace their iphones? do i need to sign up for 2 more years to get another one at a reasonable price?

at least with verizon, you cant just say you want to sign up again with another 2 years. you have to buy the phone at cost until you are eligible for 2 year pricing. AT&T may be different but i doubt it.

but it didnt work. i didnt even touch it after i dropped it in either just went right for the bag of rice.

I don't know I've gotten replacements on a lot of stuff over the years that was totally my fault and as long as you find someone cool and don't say anything that makes it your fault they'll give you replacement with a wink and a nod--it's not like they're paying for it. I don't know how apple is, but it seem like they'd be more likely to do this.

i don't take my phone into the bathroom for this exact reason. i'm not attached to it like most people though, frankly i don't need to be THAT accessible that i check my texts on the shitter, shaving, in the shower, or jerking off. the bathroom is ME time. the world can wait, that's why voicemail was created.
