So I blog on this site now, www.libertarianpunk.com

I write under the name Matt Frost. My goal is to express libertarian views in a practical, common sense way.

no you just have to use a proper URL, including the scheme name.

also from my cursory read when did libertarianism become self-absorbed republicanism? has this always been the case? I give up on this whole political identity thing...

This is the only board I post on where you have to include full the URL. It's needlessly compicated. On every other forum you can just type in www.website.whatever and it links automatically upon posting. You don't have to know HTML to post on most boards.

Libertarians are self-defined, for the most part. None of us on this site agree with each other 100%. Hell, my post before the one on steroids was about me voting for Obama.

Some lean closer to Republicanism, others like me tend towards rational centrism and classic liberalism (not to be confused with progressivism).

I just want the government to leave me alone, and stay out of my wallet, my computer, my bedroom, and my gun cabinet.

no, although some are. i just think the term 'punk' is fairly meaningless these days, maybe always was.

There's nothing in libertarianism that says you can't be a Nazi... well, except the zero-aggression principle, a Nazi might have a hard time with that concept.

As for the 'punk' part, most of the people who blog there are more into punk, and even I went through a good long punk rock period in my life.
