I'm looking to change it up a bit when I hit my abs at the gym. Stuff I've been doing is good but I think it's getting stale and my body is getting used to it. Any suggestions on exercises for that core strength that you guys like?

i basically just go around to ever stomach machine at the gym and do 3 sets of 20, then do some incline situps with weights in my hand, and when i come up i cross the weight across my body. then i do some leg lifts on the hangy thing then i hold a 80 pound weight in one hand and dip to the opposite side, keeping my stomach as tight as i can. then i hold two weights in each hand and twist my body the opposite way towards the floor

The ab wheel is the best tool for core strength. For actual ab strength I just like to do a few basic exercises. Generally incline situps with weight, and cable crunches. Aside from the ab wheel for "core" power and that I like to do a few explosive exercises. My favorite is picking up a heavy bag and slamming it for reps. Another really good exercise for core strength is walking with a weight over your head. It's hard to do in most gyms and looks a little weird, but if you put 135 on a bar, put it over your head, and walk fifty feet you'll feel it.

planks or tabletops. start by holding them for short amounts of time until you can hold them for longer.

also, put a yoga ball between your legs and do leg lifts with it for awhile. your abs will kill you for awhile.
