is it just me, or does "glazing your bathtub" sound like a euphemism for a sex act?

Just call someone. By the time you buy everything to do it yourself, it isn't worth it. Plus if you've never done it, I can't imagine it's as easy as painting a wall.

Never a bathtub, but we had the tile at our old apartment reglazed. My brother and one of his friends wanted to do it themselves, but once they started talking about how to go about it, it quickly became apparent that we'd be better off hiring someone.

After seeing how the pros did the tile, I could probably manage a tub myself. If you think you could do it, I'd say go for it. You can always call someone in to finish/repair it if you realize you're in over your head.
