and yes, the term religion is offensive to most atheists i know, including myself. i don't have "faith" in science, nor do i "believe" in it. i am convinced by logic and reason that the scientific method is the best manner we have finding out the truth of the universe, but that's as far as that goes.

also, about the original post - fuck islam. i won't pussyfoot around it and say that i respect people who blah blah blah. there might be some who reject the worst aspects of that religious culture, but that doesn't make them the mainstream.

Logic and critical thinking is almost completely lost in this thread, along with simple reading comprehension and common sense.
