maybe one of you dudes can help with this.

I've had the firepod (using with Nuendo 3) for about 2 years and never had any real problems, I was mixing yesterday and all the sudden it locked up and crashed, when I reopened to continue mixing a window pops up listing all of my inputs (8 mono ins) saying that the ASIO and device ports are "pending" I can playback tracks for mixing but I cannot seem to be able to record anything, the inputs simply do not work all the sudden. I've already tried.

1.unplugging the firepod and plugging it back in

2.shutting down and restarting

I don't know what is causing this issue, I think there are updated drivers but I never installed them before and things have always worked fine so i'm reluctant to get into that for fear of further messing things up.
I'm running windows XP and Nuendo 3, i've also checked the firepod in the systems portion of my computers control panel and it reports that everything should be working as usual any ideas?

Check to make sure that the master driver is still set to Firepod ASIO or whatever it would be.

My Mbox's drivers don't support more than one application at a time, so I've had crashes cause the driver to still be "in use" and I would have to restart my computer and then switch the ASIO driver back to the Digidesign one. I don't know if this is your problem, but it's possible.

If everything is still set up right and it's still not working, I'd at least uninstall and reinstall the old driver. Might not be a bad idea t check for a newer one as well.
