I definitely would like to rid myself of the Bearoff name.
If I marry Bryan, I'll happily be Stephanie Cordy.

won't take it. makes the name-changing-back thing after divorce a lot easier, among other reasons

I'm to lazy to do all the paperwork involved in chNging my name. plus I'm the last generation so I'm 99% sure I'll just keep it.

Would depend on the dude's name, my feelings about my family at the time, the area where I'm living, and whether I plan on being involved in local politics.

My name is pretty solid locally, and has been pretty helpful with political shit/general networking. Would kind of suck to lose that, and I'd hate having a name that has a lot of drama/negative blarga associated with it if I planned on staying in this general area.

Although when it comes down to it, logical reasoning will likely go out the window and I'll just end up taking the dude's name.
