what do i say to them? "it sounds like a dog is being beat outside"? i don't think they're gonna come running for a barking dog.

well you could call about the noise, but say that the manner of which he is barking is giving you the impression that he is abandoned or being hurt?

Either that or go out and investigate, but that's a bit risky if something is going on.

there's no more barking... i can hear people talking outside, but they're not yelling or talking in any way that doesn't sound friendly. i wonder if he was just on a leash and pissed off about it...?

i have to go back out anyway, i'll peek around the corner on my way to the car.

i'd go and see what's going on, or get a smoker to have a peek when they go on a break.

it was like sad yelping, it's done now, i'm sure it was nothing. still, it upset me for a few minutes.

awww.

One time I was driving in Phoenixville and saw this big crowd of people and I kept hearing this dog crying... I couldn't see what was going on so I drove around the block and saw that they were kicking him and beating him to death.

By the time I got on the phone with the cops and they arrived, the people were gone, they probably threw the poor guy into a dumpster or something.

people are fucking sick.

that DEFINITELY made me sad, for more than a second. i can't even imagine how anyone could do that.

meanwhile, there's nobody outside now except the bitchy cat lady from the 1st floor, all's quiet, and i don't see any blood or anything. i think the dog was probably just pissed off at being restrained.

i hate when people neglect dogs, my friends neighbor had their dog chained to a pole outside year round. he would yank on his collar so much that it was almost embeded into his skin....if you cant afford the time or money to care for a dog properly you shouldnt have one
