Okay, so had there ever been a time in your life, ladies, that you've picked personality over looks?

I can tell you that in my younger years I had a crush on one of the least attractive guys in my 9th grade class but his personality made him a total hottie.

I think this is a little less far fetched for women to feel because everybody knows that dudes are more likely to focus on what's on the outside before what's on the inside.

I pick personality over looks alot.
I'd rather date a nice guy.. whos not so attractive. Rather than a really hot guy who's a complete ass.
One of my last boyfriends and I lasted about 7 months, real sweetheart, I thought he was attractive, but I've heard alot of people say otherwise. I really don't think looks should matter that much, but I think you need to be attracted to eachothers looks aswell as their personality. Whether other people find them good looking or not. But I don't see how it could work if you don't think they're good looking.

All the guys I date I find physically attractive.. The one time I dated a (what all my friends thought to be) HOTTT guy, he turned out to be a lying peice of crap. Not to say that all good looking guys are that way, just speaking from my experiences.

As much as I respect your post, I choose personality over looks anyday. Simply, my reason for that is because in a relationship looks matter a tiny bit but personality is what makes or breaks it. I'd rather have common interests and others things in common to really enjoy the relationship. I really hate the judging state of mind of people, as to if you're not hot you're not worth a chance in certain peoples eyes.

This is exactly what I was saying. Of course personality is much more important. But you really do need to be attracted to that person physically too, I couldnt imagine trying to have a serious relationship with someone I'm not physically attracted to.. no matter how nice that person is.

That's when the term friend comes into place. Trust me I've been told that tons of times. Sucks, but it only makes you stronger.
