Sorry, it's retarded and long, but the backstory is pertinent.

I've had more than a crush on this girl since first day, first class, first semester freshman year. We got to know each other through classes, but were never simultaneously single. So I figured nothing would ever amount, and also naturally assumed she wasn't interested.

Last Thursday, we end up getting together for drinks, and it comes to light that the attraction has been mutual this entire time. That night, we have an awesome date at Chris' jazz club on Sansom. She ends up coming over later, we make out and she sleeps over.

Saturday, we watch a movie at my place, cuddle, make out, good talks, making a great connection, she sleeps over, etc.

Since then, she makes no effort at all to contact me, and every time i try to see her again, she's too busy. It is legitimately the last semester for both of us, so we're both super busy.

So am I just being paranoid, or could she be really too busy to talk to me at all? Or is she trying to tell me to fuck off politely?

And to save you the trouble, TL;DR

This has been gnawing at me for a week and needed to get it out. I really, really fucking like this girl, and she's moving close to the area to start her first job out of college, so shit seems to be aligning. Ugh I hate being retarded.

She might just be super busy- I know when I get busy and stressed out I will block out everyone and try to figure my own crap out. Give it some time, don't climb all up in between her buttcheeks about it but keep in contact enough that she knows you are still interested.

umm... if she's trying to politely tell you to fuck off than you will never hear from her again as long as you stop contacting her. So try not contacting her AT ALL (at least for a couple of weeks), and if she calls you at some point than you know it's just that she was busy. If she is not busy, and maybe just feeling like things are moving too fast than you calling her all the time is just going to piss her off and driver her away.

in any event, when it rains it pours and it's entirely possible that she's just hit a bust streak--but I think you've tried connecting with her enough by now, if she cares it's on her now, and let it be on her.

Yea sending her like a text a day is good. Texts are fantastic, when I am flustered and busy the last thing I want to do is talk on the phone ( I just hate talking on the phone to begin with) but getting a text will remind me that whoever it is is thinking of me- I can send a quick text or 2 back without having to stop what I'm doing to talk.

and if she doesn't respond to your text or call leave it up to her to get back to you.

i'm about to. we were just having a conversation via text, and she was responding normally, then i asked her if i would be lucky enough to take her out next saturday, and it's been 15 fucking minutes and she hasn't responded. this is getting the better of my sanity, or what's left of it.
